Honoraries

Honorary members of Cap and Gown are women at Stanford whose work and lives have had a substantial impact on the lives of students. Honoraries are chosen by the student board, with assistance from the Alumnae Board.

Honorary membership is a class of membership we cherish. Honorary members include LaDoris Cordell, JD ’74, Rebecca Freeland, ’04, Paola Gianturco, ’61, and Julie Lythcott-Haims, ’89. There are currently 30 honorary members.
